About Soldier Hollow Nordic Center
Nestled above the picturesque town of Midway and resting in the shadow of the Wasatch Mountains lies Soldier Hollow Nordic Center at Wasatch Mountain State Park. Although it is primarily known as an Olympic venue, Soldier Hollow hosts a variety of activities throughout the fall, spring and summer. Athletes at world-class levels and weekend enthusiasts can enjoy the facility on a year-round basis. Soldier Hollow Nordic Center hosted the BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon in 2019.
About International Biathlon Union
The International Biathlon Union (IBU) is recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), as the international governing body for the Olympic sport of biathlon. Headquartered in Anif bei Salzburg, the IBU is a non-profit organization registered in Austria that regulates the sport and oversees the competition organization world-wide. In cooperation with its 59 member national federations (NFs), the IBU uses competitions, events, programs and other activities to promote and develop participation in Biathlon throughout the world.
